Overcoming a block is not easy, my friends, but somehow, I have finally done it. It has been over a month since I've submitted anything to dA or even attempted to put a pencil to paper. I just feel slightly accomplished, I must say.
Anyway, I find the military inspiring these days, especially women in the military. It's not a subject that comes up often, and I felt they, (specifically) the women of the United States Marine Corps, deserved a tribute. They may be barred from direct combat, but they still put their lives on the line every day for people who seem to take it for granted.
This one's to you, ladies.

I'm actually really surprised that the comments for this aren't filled with hate. It's rare to see that, although I did think a few of the comments were funny. Good job on the art!
